The primary role of the Talent Specialist is to provide support in executing Nucor Buildings Group's (NBG) Talent Strategy, which includes Recruitment, Selection and Development.
This position will provide an emphasis on finding and developing the workforce of the future by focusing on the following:
1.
Supporting NBG as a resource expert in our Recruiting, Selection, Development and Workforce/Succession Planning efforts 2.
Building and fostering relationships with external partners (i.
e.
Recruiters, schools) that provide support for NBG's talent efforts 3.
Analyzing training and development needs and collaborating with talent team to implement solutions 4.
Coordinating leadership development activities 5.
Collaborating with local schools (high schools, tech schools, community colleges) to develop and expand Nucor's local presence near our physical locations 6.
Coordinate activities of local recruiting teams to maintain and improve university and diversity recruiting efforts 7.
Selection and promotions process support 8.
Develop and execute a communication strategy delivered through a variety of channels 9.
