Job Description:
The security of BlackBerry products has not just been part of our product heritage; BlackBerry Secure is a passion that runs deep throughout the company. BlackBerry's Product Security team is looking for a Senior Security Program Manager to help develop programs to support our customer security advisory communications initiatives and enable customer success. This role will help champion the needs of our customers and product teams to ensure that we are building programs that align with emerging security standards. The incumbent will track, manage, and report on all of our security communications programs, working closely with our Security Communications Manager and Technical Writer. You will work with numerous stakeholders, including security engineers, program managers, executives, and others across BlackBerry. The program manager will also lean in and support other Product Security programs as necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the Security Communications Manager to ensure our Security Advisory programs are meeting customer needs. Build operational capacity to expand our Security Communication programs to meet the expectations of the United States Executive Order on Cyber Security. Ensure our private Security Advisory program is effective, useful, and on-time. Track and manage the requirements of our Security Communications programs in collaboration with our Communications Manager Establish relevant metrics, KPI/KRI's, and ROI to communicate status, demonstrate progress, demonstrate business value and build awareness of program performance. Communicate data to all levels of the organization, including executives and decision-makers. Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders across Product Security, Product teams, and our partner organizations within BlackBerry. Work to help drive and improve the Security Programs team's usage of Smartsheets and JIRA for tracking. Host and drive weekly advisory program calls. Manage and support other security programs as necessary. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Information Systems, Technical Communication or Program Management, Computer Science or Information technology, 5
years experience working in a project, program, or customer management capacity. Experience developing content and delivering data to all levels of business enterprise, public, customers, including executives. Management, Team Lead, or strong mentoring experience. Experience with coordinated disclosure or other customer communication programs. ADDITIONAL ASSETS Experience with programming, attacks, malware, other security concepts. Experience with JIRA ticketing, filtering, dashboards Experience with SmartSheets project tracking.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Program Management, IT SecurityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
