Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Buildings Group (NBG) is seeking a self-motivated person who enjoys coordinating projects and priorities, can think outside the box, and understand impacts at an enterprise level. You will be part of regular meetings with peers on your team, across group services, and with division teammates to discuss the vision and direction of the toolset. Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects Drive the scope, development, and implementation of value added new and or enhanced NBG products, processes, and tools as defined by collaboration within the divisions and group services. Commit to the framework that makes up our agile procedure including participating in daily stand ups, planning meetings, and retrospectives. Produce the highest level of quality documentation that implements value by actively participating in document receives, testing, tools, and processes guidelines. Responsible for communication project status to teammates by daily updating working completed and work remaining. Work with teammates to establish targets, commitments, and any scheduling issues for projects. Will confirm structural calculations in software through testing and validation. Resolve support requests and work with IT support team as needed. Assist in providing documentation that outlines technical scope for software development. Work with the supervisor to remove knowledge gaps within the team. Maintain up to date knowledge on codes and design standards that impact the metal building industry and the standard practices which includes CEU/PDH requirements for licensing. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 years of experience in Metal Building Design or 5 years of experience in Structural Design A Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a structural emphasis Active licensed Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer (P.E., S.E.) Experience with and a working knowledge of various building codes and steel design specifications (i.e.:
IBC, AISC, ASCE or AISI) Effective verbal and written communication skills Preferred
Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of building construction Participation in industry related committees such as MBMA, IBC, AISC Experience working within the principles of Scrum or other agile development practice
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Civil Engineering, Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
